The Unified Champion Schools® (UCS) Program is a priority of Beyond Gold’s Belonging and Inclusion Initiative. The program aims to create a school climate where students with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) feel welcome and are routinely included in and feel a part of all activities, opportunities, and functions.
Every Unified Champion School has Inclusive Youth Leadership, Inclusive Sports, and Whole School Engagement.
Students with and without IDD working together to plan and lead advocacy, awareness, and inclusive activities throughout the school year.

Awareness and education activities that promote inclusion and reach all students, teachers, staff, and administrators.
Create a Rural Schools Initiative to bring the Unified Champion Schools program to students in Grant, Klickitat, Kittitas, and Yakima counties.
Advance equitable access to Unified Champion School opportunities for Black, Indigenous, and Persons of Color (BIPOC) communities in Auburn, Kent, Lakewood, Seattle, Spokane, Tacoma, and Vancouver.
